The Clarinotts to zespół złożony z ojca Ernsta i jego dwóch synów Daniela i Adreasa Ottensamerów, zwany królewską rodziną klarnecistów. Ernst i Daniel są solistami w orkiestrze Wiener Philharmoniker, a Andreas jest solistą w Berliner Philharmonie. Rodzinny zespół powstał jeszcze, kiedy Daniel i Adreas byli dziećmi i muzykowali razem z ojcem w domu. 2005 to data oficjalnego powstania zespołu, który od tego czasu zaczął prowadzić profesjonalną działalność koncertową.Album będący debiutem fonograficznym zespołu The Clarinotts prezentuje najbardziej wirtuozowskie kompozycje, jakie zostały napisane na klarnet w aranżacjach na 2-3 solistów i orkiestrę lub fortepian. Dwa utwory z albumu zespołu The Clarinotts znajdą się w programie Koncertu Noworocznego 2016.
