Koncepcyjny następca wspaniałego debiutu Walijki Mariny Diamandis, znanej jako Marina And The Diamonds. Album „Electra Heart” ukazał się w 2012 roku.Marina napisała piosenki w ciągu 18 miesięcy, a nagrań dokonała w Londynie i Los Angeles. Do produkcji artystka wybrała speców z pierwszej ligi, między innymi Dr. Luke'a (Katy Perry), Ricka Nowelsa (Madonna), Liama Howe'a (Sneaker Pimps), Grega Kurstina (Lily Allen).W tekstach zmierzyła się z takimi tematami, jak miłość, odrzucenie, nieudany romans, nadzieja. Nie zabrakło też charakterystycznego brytyjskiego humoru. Sama Diamandis opisała materiał, jako odę do dysfunkcyjnej miłości, opartą na postaciach znanych z romansów, filmowych i teatralnych.Na Wyspach płyta zdobyła szczyt brytyjskiego notowania. Nowe wydawnictwo Bonnie "Prince" Billy "I Made A Place" ukazało się 15 listopada 2019 nakładem Domino Recording. Bonnie "Prince" Billy w ciągu ostatnich pięciu lat wydał albumy z wcześniej nagranymi utworami Susanny Wallumrod, Mekons, Merle Haggard i wspólny album z Bitchin Bajas! Jedyne, czego nie zrobił, to album z własnymi utworami. Jego ostatnia autorska płyta "Wolfroy Goes To Town" ukazała się w 2011 roku. W czasach pierwszej kadencji prezydentury Obamy!. W ostatnich latach cały świat nagrań muzycznych został rozpylony, zmienił się sposób, w jaki muzyka jest pojmowana, postrzegana, nagrywana, wydawana i dystrybuowana. Próbowałem wstrzymać oddech, czekając, aż burza minie, ale ta burza zostaje, a jej dewastacja tworzy nasz nowy krajobraz. Co innego można zrobić oprócz tego, co wiemy i czujemy, czyli nagrywać piosenki przeznaczone do intymnego słuchania dla cudownych nieznajomych, którzy dzielą się czymś duchowym i muzycznym.
