Skład Hunger Pangs tworzą Marek Kądziela (gitara), autor większości kompozycji i założyciel, Tomek Dąbrowski (trąbka, microKorg, Balkan horn) oraz Kasper Tom Christiansen (perkusja). Muzycy spotkali się na studiach w Carl Nielsen Academy of Music w Odense (Dania). Wspólnym mianownikiem ich wieloletniej znajomości jest działalność muzyczna zapoczątkowana w 2006 roku, która trwa do dziś (także w ramach innych formacji, np.: K.R.A.N., OFFquartet, Kasper4). Materiał na płytę powstawał w latach 2010 - 2012, i został zarejestrowany w trakcie trzech sesji nagraniowych: w Berlinie i dwóch w Odense. W realizacji sesji nagraniowej w Berlinie uczestniczył Frank Möbus. Muzyka inspirowana twórczością „Der Rote Bereich” i „Hyperactive Kid”. Artyści doskonalili kształt projektu podczas trwania licznych tras koncertowych (głównie w Niemczech, Danii oraz w Polsce).
