Hooverphonic to belgijski zespół, wcześniej sklasyfikowany jako grupa trip hop, której brzmienie szybko rozszerzyło się do tego stopnia, że nie można go już nazwać samotnym gatunkiem, ale raczej objąć alternatywną, elektroniczną, electropopową, rockową i mieszanką innych. Hooverphonic istnieje od 1995 roku. Podstawę zespołu  tworzą Alex Callier i gitarzysta Raymond Geerts. Przez lata pracowali z różnymi piosenkarzami. Długi i ważny okres (1998-2008) to wspołpraca z Geike Arnaert    Na początku ich istnienia Hooverphonic tworzył głównie sferyczną muzykę trip-hop. Stopniowo zmieniało się to w popową muzykę ambient z wieloma elementami orkiestrowymi, które często nadają muzyce kinową atmosferę. To nie przypadek, że ich muzyka często wykorzystana jest w filmach i serialach takich jak: "2Wicky"  (in "Stealing Beauty"), "Eden" (in "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer"), "This Strange Effect" and "Shades" (in" Shades "), "Mad About You" (in "Driven and in New Best Friend") oraz "The World Is Mine" (in TV series "Mile High").  Oprócz tych muzycznych atrakcji, na tej podwójnej płycie TOP 40 znajdziesz także wszystkie inne hity takie jak: "Sometimes", "One", "The Night Before", "Jackie Cane", "Anger Never Dies", "Badaboum" oraz  "Amalfi".
