Die Flippers był niemieckim zespołem Schlager, założonym w Badenii-Wirtembergii, istniejący od 1964 do 2011 roku. Zespół sprzedał w sumie 24 złote i 5 platynowych albumów, co czyni go najbardziej nagradzanym niemieckim zespołem Schlager wszech czasów. W 1969 roku Bernd Hengst i Franz Halmich napisali piosenkę „Weine Nicht, Kleine Eva” (obecnie uważana za klasyczną), która była ogromnym hitem w Niemczech. W 1970 roku zespół wydaje „Sha La La, I Love You”, tłumaczenie holenderskiego zespołu The Shuffles, który stał się kolejnym wielkim hitem w Niemczech. Nagrali niekończącą się serię wielkich hitów, w tym „Meksyk”, „St. Tropez”, „Mitternacht In Trinidad” i „Lotosblume”, a wszystko to pokryło się złotem lub platyną.
