Zespół Thrice stworzył album "Palms" z nowatorskim i luźnym podejściem do brzmieniowych elementów, co czyni go najbardziej ekspansywnym albumem w ich dorobku. W efekcie na albumie znajdzie się zakres od instynktownego post-harcore'u do fortepianowych ballad.
