W listopadzie 1971 r. Legendarny rockowy perkusista Cream and Blind Faith, Ginger Baker, postanowił założyć studio nagraniowe w Lagos, w stolicy Nigerii. Film Tony Palmera podąża za Bakerem przez w czasie podróży po pustyni Sahara, przechwytując wszystkie jego wyjątkowe doświadczenia, aż do jego przybycia do Nigerii, gdzie założy swoje studio. Działając jako obiekt zarówno dla muzyki lokalnej, jak i zachodniej, studio kontynuowało działalność pomyślnie przez lata 70, a nawet współpracowało z piosenkarzem i kompozytorem Paulem McCartney'em. Materiał zawiera także niesamowite jamy z afrykańskimi muzykami w tym z felą Kuti'm i Tony Allenem.
