Leonard Slatkin - "The American Collection" to kolejna pozycja z cyklu Sony Classical Masters Series, w którym odnajdą Państwo największych wykonawców muzyki klasycznej w ich najlepszych kreacjach artystycznych. W latach 1979 - 1996 Leonard Slatkin piastował stanowisko dyrektora muzycznego St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Pod jego kierownictwem orkiestra St. Louis stała się jednym z przodujących amerykańskich zespołów filharmonicznych.
