Rok po znakomitym debiucie niemiecka thrashmetalowa formacja Deathrow wypuściła drugi album, który został jeszcze lepiej przyjęty niż "Riders of Doom". "Raging Steel" z 1987 roku miał jeszcze większą dynamikę, lepsze brzmienie i zawierał dojrzalsze kompozycje. Deathrow stał się dzięki niemu czołową siłą w niemieckim thrash metalu. "Raging Steel" nie był wznawiany od wielu lat. Teraz pojawia się od razu na CD.
