Louis Daniel Armstrong (pseudonim artystyczny Satchmo lub Pops) (ur. 4 sierpnia 1901 w Nowym Orleanie, zm. 6 lipca 1971 w Nowym Jorku) – amerykański trębacz i wokalista jazzowy. Wyróżniał się stylem gry na trąbce i wokalistyką jazzową, do której wprowadził śpiew scatem.  W 1990 Louis Armstrong został wprowadzony do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Jego imieniem nazwany został stadion w kompleksie tenisowym USTA National Tennis Center.

Solar System to drugi album tego znakomitego tria w katalogu For Tune. Charlesa Gayle'a poznałem jesienią 2013 r. w Londynie. Nigdy nie zapomnę tego spotkania. Charles czekał w drzwiach hotelu. Od samego początku nie stwarzał żadnych barier. Nasza przyjaźń zaczęła się właśnie wtedy, w Cafe Oto. Już po pierwszym secie wiedziałem, że wydarzyło się coś wyjątkowego.
