Muzyka dawna z Syrii oraz utwory wywodzące się z tradycji europejskiej w wykonaniu zespołu Hespèrion XXI pod dyrekcją Jordiego Savalla. Do tego projektu będącego hołdem złożonym Syrii Jordi Savall zaprosił muzyków z Syrii, Libanu i Izraela.

Zespół Extempore tworzy troje doświadczonych i wszechstronnych artystów zajmujących się historycznym wykonawstwem muzyki dawnej: skrzypaczka Małgorzata Malke, klawesynistka i organistka Anna Firlus oraz grający na violi da gamba Krzysztof Firlus. Zamiłowanie do kameralistyki, muzyki dawnej i odkrywania nieznanego skłoniło ich do utworzenia zespołu w 2007 roku, gdy studiowali jeszcze w Akademii Muzycznej w Katowicach. Georg Philipp Telemann, tradycyjnie trochę niedoceniany, mistrz muzyki baroku, jak mało który kompozytor odpowiada temperamentowi muzycznemu Zespołu. Na płycie znalazły się opracowane na skład Extepmore sonaty triowe Telemanna oraz utwory solowe, z których dwa to w pewnym sensie "nowości" - kompozycje jeszcze kilka lat temu uznawane za zaginione. Obecne na płycie suity Michela-Richarda de Lalande należą do pierwszych utworów instrumentalnych, jakie skomponował po objęciu stanowiska dworskiego kompozytora w 1689 roku. Na potrzeby nagrania została przygotowana specjalna rekonstrukcja prezentowanych prac, w której hamburski zespół Elbipolis Barockorchester wykonuje te zdumiewające prace, po raz pierwszy w ich pierwotnym pięcioczęściowym układzie.
