Dziesiąta część nagrania 15 edycji ekskluzywnego konkursu międzynarodowego pod patronatem Fryderyka Chopina rozpoczęła się 2. 10 zakończyła 24.10.2005 roku w Warszawie, organizatorem konkursu jest Towarzystwo im. Fryderyka Chopina. W konkursie wzięło udział 80 pianistów z 18 krajów. Konkurs ten jest szczególny ponieważ zmieniono w nim reguły zamiast trzech etapów i finału, wprowadzono dwa etapy i finał. Dyrektor konkursu to Albert Grudziński natomiast dyrektor-koordynator to Tomasz Stancki.

„Ite In Mundum” to płyta wydana przez Fundację Dominikański Ośrodek Liturgiczny. Zawiera autorskie kompozycje Dawida Kusza OP - dominikańskiego artysty znanego z dotychczas wydanych w Ośrodku albumów „Witaj Maryjo” i „Pieśń o nadziei”. „Od wydania mojej ostatniej autorskiej płyty „Witaj Maryjo” minęło 11 lat. Słucham jej pisząc te słowa i przypominam sobie wspaniałą atmosferę, jaka nam wtedy towarzyszyła. Wracam również wspomnieniami do wydanej trzy lata wcześniej, bo w 2005 roku płyty Pieśń o nadziei. Nigdy nie zapomnę pozytywnych emocji i entuzjazmu, które przeżywaliśmy podczas jej nagrywania. Chociaż upływ czasu i tempo życia sprawiły, że z niektórymi osobami uczestniczącymi w tamtych projektach straciłem kontakt, to dzięki nagraniom mogę dziś ponownie wsłuchać się w ich głosy, wrócić myślami do tych wyjątkowych, wspólnie przeżytych chwil. Był to naprawdę dobry czas. Nagrania są niesamowitą przygodą. Momentem, w którym splatają się i wchodzą w reakcję między sobą działania, talenty oraz emocje wielu ludzi. Towarzyszy im przekonanie, że tworzy się coś nowego, bardzo osobistego, coś czego będą słuchać kolejne pokolenia. Dlatego z wielką radością oddaję nową płytę „Ite in mundum”. Jest ona przeglądem mojej twórczości z ostatnich ośmiu lat. Zawiera wyselekcjonowany materiał, który – jak wierzę – z powodzeniem może być użyty w celebracji Mszy świętej (pomimo tego, że jest trudny i wymagający). W skład płyty wchodzą utwory komponowane na różne okazje, między innymi: Mszę świętą z okazji zakończenia Jubileuszu 800-lecia Zakonu Ojców Dominikanów, odprawioną przez papieża Franciszka na Lateranie (Alleluja, tytułowe Ite in mundum); Mszę świętą inaugurującą rocznicę 130-lecia Akademii Muzycznej w Krakowie (Aklamacja Chwała Tobie Słowo Boże); czy cykliczne, adwentowe Warsztaty Liturgiczno-Muzyczne, organizowane przez Wrocławskie Liturgiczne Studium Wokalne (Missa Vroclaviensis, która dla potrzeb nagrania otrzymała nową „szatę” instrumentalną). Ponadto płytę Ite in mundum tworzą utwory pisane na potrzeby wykonania koncertowego, jak chociażby: trzyczęściowa Gloria, nawiązująca do twórczości angielskiego kompozytora Johna Ruttera, powstała z okazji jubileuszu Scholi Domenica, działającej przy żywieckiej konkatedrze oraz Odszedł Pasterz od nas i Adoramus Te, Christe, których premiera odbyła się w Lublinie podczas festiwalu „Wielkopostne Śpiewanie” w 2018 roku. Inne zamieszczone na płycie utwory wykonywane były przy różnych okazjach i weszły do repertuaru znanych krakowskich chórów, takich jak: Psalmodia czy Camerata Jagiellonica (Salve Regina, Tota pulchra es Maria). Mam na koniec ogromną nadzieję, że tych kilka utworów poruszy duszę wszystkich Was – Słuchaczy, otwierając na Pana Boga i Jego łaskę, ośmieli do odważnego pójścia w świat, by głosić Ewangelię wszystkim na wszelkie sposoby.
