Jordi Savall to hiszpański kompozytor, grający na instrumentach skrzypcowych. Był jedną z największych postaci, jeśli chodzi o zachodnią muzykę dawną. Pochodzący z Francji wybitny kompozytor Francois Couperin, urodzony w 1668 roku w Paryżu, zmarła w 1733 roku, również we Francji. Kompozytor komponował w epoce baroku, oraz grał na organach.
