Drugi album z serii poświęconej jednemu z wiodących kompozytorów Grecji, Alkisowi Baltasowi. Ten album zawiera pięć utworów. W wyrafinowanym „Suite” na fortepian nowsze techniki, takie jak 12-tonowe elementy i klastry, są łączone z niektórymi tradycyjnymi formami, takimi jak kanon i fugato.  Do kompozycji „Vision” wykorzystano wyciągi z melodii Hildegarda von Bingen, które kompozytor przetworzył w komputerze w taki sposób, aby nie można było ich zidentyfikować, i wymieszał je z dźwiękami wiatru, fal i innymi. Źródłem inspiracji utworu muzycznego „Dialogi greckie” jest pięć bardzo dobrze znanych dialogów, które są nieodłącznie związane z grecką historią i cywilizacją. Utwór „Echa”, z podtytułem utworu „Wspomnienia z naszej muzyki ludowej”, wyjaśnia intencję kompozytora, aby nie tworzy kompozycji o charakterze folklorystycznym, ale współczesne dzieło z odległymi rytmicznymi i melodycznymi odniesieniami do greckiej muzyki ludowej. Odniesienia te są tak krótkie i ulotne, że czasami są ledwo rozpoznawane. „Nieznana wyspa” jest, zdaniem kompozytora, samotnym miejscem, którego nikt inny nie zna, oprócz nas samych, w którym nasza myśl i wyobraźnia kryją się w życiu w snach lub w czym nie może - lub świadomie unika - spotkania się w rzeczywistości. Nie ma tam żadnych pozorów, zahamowań ani kompromisów, tylko prawda o nas samych. Te wspaniałe dzieła wykonuje zespół Alea III pod dyrekcją Theodore Antoniou, zespół dissonArt pod dyrekcją Nikosa Athineosa, Vicky Stylianou (fortepian), Costas Anastassopoulos (skrzypce) i duet skrzypcowy, w skład którego wchodzą Spyros Gikontis i Eleni Petridou. Zostały one dokonane gdy w użytkowanie weszły nagrania elektryczne i stanowią dokumentację rewelacyjnej techniki i wirtuozerii artysty. Muzyka na płycie została nagrana w Nowym Jorku i Berlinie. Britten’s Cello Symphony is at the end of a chain of works written for Rostropovich, starting with Myaskovsky’s cello sonata in 1949. Slava played the sonata at a recital at which Prokofiev was present, and Prokofiev immediately agreed to write a work for him. His Sinfonia Concertante was premiered with Shostakovich in the audience, who, in turn composed his 1st cello concerto for Rostropovich. Now it was Britten’s turn, and the composer called on Rostropovich at his hotel the next day to discuss the proposed composition. Premiered in 1963, the title of the work accurately describes the nature of the music. Although having a virtuoso solo part, the orchestra is an equal. As in a symphony the opening movement is spacious and the thematic material of the last two movements is shared, making them form an elaborate finale.  Pieter Wispelwey’s 3rd recording for Onyx.
