Gwiazdorska obsada muzyków z Jazz Soul Seven wydała właśnie płytę poświęconą zmarłemu w 1999 roku gitarzyście i wokaliście zatytułowaną „Impressions of Curtis Mayfield” zawierający jego muzykę w różnych interpretacjach. Perkusista Henry Gibson wielokrotnie koncertował z Curtisem Mayfieldem i Donny’m Hathaway’em.Płyta otrzymała wyśmienite recenzję w opiniotwórczych jazzowych mediach muzycznych jak JazzTimes, Billboard, All About Jazz czy Jazzreview. Zachowując ducha gęstej od emocji muzyki soul, artyści zostawili swój ślad na utworach z całej kariery Mayfielda, takich jak „Superfly”, „Move On Up” i „People Get Ready” uzyskując naprawdę perfekcyjny efekt.Tracklista:1.
