Album zawiera koncert Soft Machine z Amsterdamu z 1969 roku. Soft Machine – brytyjska progresywna grupa rockowa wywodząca się ze sceny Canterbury. Soft Machine obok Henry Cow i Pink Floyd była najwybitniejszą grupą brytyjskiego podziemia artystycznego drugiej połowy lat sześćdziesiątych. Prekursor i jeden z najwybitniejszych przedstawicieli jazz-rocka. Muzyka grupy oparta była na solowej wirtuozerii instrumentalistów, rozbudowanych solówkach łączących elementy rocka, jazzu i improwizacji, eksperymentów dźwiękowych oraz muzycznej głębi.
