Marillion wydali studyjny debiut, "Script for a Jester's Tear", w marcu 1983 roku. W ojczyźnie muzyków, Wielkiej Brytanii, płyta pokryła się platyną i dotarła do 7. miejsca listy sprzedaży. Z albumu pochodzą single "He Knows You Know" (35. miejsce na liście przebojów) i "Garden Party" (16. miejsce). 3 kwietnia w sprzedażny pojawią się dwie wersje "Script for a Jester's Tear: Deluxe Edition". Pierwsza edycja składa się z 4 płyt CD i Blu-raya, a druga z 4 winyli. Wyprodukowany przez Nicka Taubera "Script for a Jester's Tear" to jedyny album Marillion nagrany w składzie Fish (śpiew), Steve Rothery (gitara), Pete Trewavas (bas), Mark Kelly (klawisze) i Mick Pointer (perkusja). Obydwie wersje "Deluxe Edition" ukażą się w nowych miksach stereo, za które odpowiadają Andy Bradfield i Avril Mackintosh. Ponadto, zestawy zawierają nowy miks stereo piosenki "Charting The Single" (pochodzącej ze strony B singla "He Knows, You Know" ze stycznia 1983 roku) oraz materiału z EP-ki "Market Square Heroes" z października 1982 roku. Na obydwu wersjach znajdzie się także wcześniej niepublikowany zapis koncertu Marillion, który odbył się w Marquee Club w Londynie 29 grudnia 1982 roku. Na występ, zarejestrowany kilka miesięcy przed premierą "Script for a Jester's Tear", złożyły się koncertowe wersje 6 utworów z płyty: "He Knows You Know", "The Web", "Garden Party", "Chelsea Monday", "Forgotten Sons" oraz nagranie tytułowe. Na żywo Marillion wykonali wówczas także niepochodzące z albumu numery jak "Three Boats Down From The Candy" czy epickie, 19-minutowe "Grendel" z EP-ki "Market Square Heroes". Fani usłyszeli ponadto koncertową "Margaret". Inna wersja piosenki trafiła w 1983 roki na stronę B singla "Garden Party". Blu-ray zawiera wysokiej rozdzielczości audio (96k/24-bitowe) nowy miks audio płyty "Script for a Jester's Tear", EP-ki "Market Square Heroes" oraz "Live at the Marquee Club". Na krążku zamieszczono również "Script for a Jester's Tear" w jakości 5.1 Surround. Całość uzupełnia dokument z wywiadami dotyczącymi okresu od powstania Marillion w 1979 roku w Aylesbury po wydanie "Script for a Jester's Tear" w 1983 roku.
