Grey Daze to zespól stworzony w 1993 roku przez Chestera Benningtona – lidera grupy Linking Park – jeszcze przed rozpoczęciem kariery z Linking Park. Zespół Grey Daze został reaktywowany przez Chestera w 2017 roku ale prace nad albumem grupy nie zostały ukończone w związku z tragiczna śmiercią lidera. W 2018 pozostali członkowie grupy wspólnie z rodziną zmarłego Chestera Benningtona zadecydowali o ukończeniu prac nad albumem. Owocem tej decyzji jest właśnie krążek „Amends”.
