Eliot Sumner porzuca pseudonim I Blame Coco i powraca w nowym wcieleniu muzycznym! Artystka nie boi się już otwarcie przyznawać do swojego nazwiska (prywatnie jest córką samego Stinga), ani czerpania ze swoich prawdziwych fascynacji muzycznych.Album Eliot Sumner „Information” to brzmienie w dużej mierze inspirowane niemieckim kraut rockiem i ulubionym zespołem artystki, kiedy była jeszcze nastolatką – The Bad Seeds, ale też takimi grupami jak Cluster, Faust i oczywiście ikoną niemieckiej elektroniki – Kraftwerk. „Album jest bardzo motoryczny, z hipnotyzującymi beatami” – przyznaje panna Sumner. „Lubię hałas. Są też na nim industrialne dźwięki. Ale zdecydowanie żadnego swingu ani jazzu!” – dodaje. Praca nad płytą nie należała do najłatwiejszych – „próbowałam podchodzić do tematu aż czterokrotnie, od 2012r. aż do niedawna. Rzeczy, które powstały były jednak zbyt depresyjne, dlatego teraz pojawiły się też weselsze momenty na płycie” – tłumaczy Sumner. „Information” zostało wyprodukowane przez Dunana Millsa, znanego ze współpracy z The Vaccines, Spector czy Crocodiles, dzięki czemu materiał na płycie jest bardzo spójny. Mills dał artystce wolną rękę, jeśli chodzi o eksperymentowanie – na płycie słychać sporo psychodelicznych inspiracji, z niecodziennymi, nieprzewidywalnymi strukturami utworów. „To muzyka, której prawdopodobnie sama chciałabym słuchać” – podsumowuje Eliot Sumner. Tracklista:1.
