Dwie legendy amerykańskiego bluesa na jednej płycie! Na dwóch dyskach pod tytułem „Blues Piano And Guitar” zebrano 30 nagrań wielkich artystów z St. Loius – Roosevelta „The Honeydrippera” Sykesa i Henry'ego Townsenda. Panowie poznali się w latach 20. XX wieku. Ten drugi szukał w rodzinnym mieście kogoś, kto udzieliłby mu wskazówek gry na fortepianie. Trafiło właśnie na Roosevelta. W ten sposób zaczęła się trwająca się wiele lat głęboka przyjaźń. Wśród zamieszczonych kompozycji jest bluesowy klasyk „Sweet Home Chicago”. Nagrania pochodzą z występu, który odbył się 3 lutego 1973 roku na terenie Washington University. Panów na wokalu wsparła żona Henry'ego, Vernell. Całość zarejestrował, będący wówczas na koncercie założyciel wytwórni Nighthawk Records, Leroy Jodie Pierson.
