Dziewiąty studyjny materiał legendy hip-hopu, pochodzącej z Los Angeles formacji Cypress Hill. Płyta "Elephants On Acid" została wydana aż osiem lat po świetnej "Rise Up" z 2010 roku z tytułowym przebojem nagranym z gościnnym udziałem Toma Morello. DJ Muggs tłumaczył, że album ma wywoływać w słuchaczu wrażenie, jakby był na haju, ale w rzeczywistości nie skonsumował wcześniej żadnych narkotyków. Didżej jest producentem całości, dla której inspiracją był między innymi rock psychodeliczny z lat 70. Na albumie wykorzystano tylko jeden sampel – japońskiej smooth jazzowej grupy Hiroshima. Część nagrań odbyła się w Egipcie, część w słynnym Joshua Tree w Kalifornii. W studiu wykorzystano sporo partii sitaru. "Elephants On Acid" promowała piosenka tytułowa oraz nagranie "Band Of Gypsies”.
