28 Sierpnia ub. r. przestał istnieć najważniejszy współczesny brytyjski zespół rockowy - Oasis. Niespełna rok po tym wydarzeniu w nasze ręce trafia wydawnictwo dokumentujące sukcesy tej założonej 15 lat temu w Manchesterze przez Noela i Liama Gallaghera grupy. W podstawowej edycji 'Time Flies... 1994-2009' na dwóch płytach CD zawiera 27 singli Oasis, od debiutanckiego 'Supersonic' po ostatni 'Falling Down' łącznie z niedostępnym na żadnej oficjalnej płycie 'Whatever'. To kawał historii współczesnej muzyki - i w przeciwieństwie od wydanej kilka lat temu kompilacji 'Stop the Clocks', bedącej subiektywnym zestawem najlepszych piosenek zespołu wybranych przez jego liderów, ta zawiera wszystkie piosenki wydane na małych krążkach. Album ukazuje się w czterech wersjach - 2CD, na pięciu 12-calowych płytach winylowych, w limitowanym 4-płytowym boxie (2xCD w wersji podstawowej, DVD ze wszystkimi 36-cioma teledyskami zespołu i CD z ostatnim kiedykolwiek nagranym koncertem Oasis z London Roundhouse z 2009 r.) oraz na pojedynczej płycie DVD (same teledyski).
