Specjalna edycja jubileuszowa dla uczczenia 30. rocznicy wydania albumu The Joshua Tree! Super Deluxe Collector’s Edition, obok oryginalnego albumu z 11 utworami będzie zawierała: nagrania live z koncertu w Madison Square Garden jaki odbył się w ramach The Joshua Tree Tour w 1987r., rzadko publikowane nagrania oraz B-side’y, a także remiksy Daniela Lanois, St Francis Hotel, Jacknife’a Lee, Steve’a Lillywhite’a oraz Flooda. Ponadto wydawnictwo będzie wzbogacone o 84-stronicową książkę w twardej oprawie z niepublikowanymi dotąd zdjęciami wykonanymi przez The Edge’a podczas oryginalnej sesji fotograficznej na pustyni Mojave z 1986r. Album The Joshua Tree ukazał się oryginalnie w 9 marca 1987r. i zawierał takie przeboje jak „With Or Without You”, „I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, a także „Where The Streets Have No Name”. Płyta trafiła na 1. miejsce list sprzedaży w UK, USA, Irlandii, a także w wielu innych krajach i rozeszła się w ilości ponad 25 milionów egzemplarzy na świecie, zapewniając zespołowi  U2 w składzie: Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton oraz Larry Mullen Jr status supergwiazd. Do „Where The Streets Have No Name” powstało kultowe już dziś video nakręcone na dachu sklepu z alkoholem w Los Angeles, które przyniosło zespołowi nagrodę Grammy. Drugą statuetkę Grammy, a także Brit Awards U2 otrzymali w kategorii Album Roku. Album The Joshua Tree został wyprodukowany przez Brian Eno i Daniela Lanois.
