Szósta płyta w dorobku francuskiej pianistki Lisy de la Salle została poświęcona twórczości Franciszka Liszta z racji przypadającej w 2011 roku jego 200. rocznicy urodzin. Twórczość węgierskiego kompozytora idealnie pasuje do sposobu gry pianistki, jej wspaniałej techniki i wrażliwości na kontrasty.Program recitalu skonstruowany jest dość niezwykle i eklektycznie. Duże formy, takie jak: II Ballada, Funérailles, Après une lecture du dante : fantasia quasi Sonata przeplatają się z kompozycjami o mniejszych rozmiarach: Nuages gris oraz transkrypcjami: Ständchen Schuberta i Isoldes Liebestod Wagnera. Daje to doskonałe wyobrażenie na temat ogromu geniuszu Liszta, jego wirtuozerii i nowoczesnych rozwiązań formalnych.Lise de la Salle gra na fortepianie od 4 roku życia, swój pierwszy koncert zagrała w wieku lat 9, z orkiestrą wystąpiła jako 9-latka (wykonując II Koncert fortepianowy Ludwiga van Beethovena), a swoje pierwsze nagranie zrealizowała mając 14 lat (z muzyką Ravela i Rachmaninowa). Od 2001 roku jej kariera nabrała tempa – koncertuje na całym świecie, w renomowanych salach (Wigmore Hall w Londynie, Met Museum w Nowym Jorku, Concertgebouw w Amsterdamie), z najlepszymi orkiestrami (Wiener Philharmoniker, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin) i dyrygentami (Philippe Herreweghe, Marek Janowski, Sir Charles Mackerras)W latach 1998-2006 pianistka pracowała pod kierunkiem Pascla Nemirovskiego. Studia dyplomowe odbyła w Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique w Paryżu w klasie Bruno Rigutto.
