Trzeci studyjny album Living Colour - "Stain" został nagrany w składzie : Corey Glover (vocals); Vernon Reid (guitar, guitar synthesizer); Doug Wimbish (bass); Will Calhoun (drums, percussion). Dodatkowo zagrali : Andrew Fairley (vocals); Bernard Fowler (background vocals); Vincent Gutman, Scott Pittinsky (programming). Living Colour - grupa afroamerykańskich muzyków, powstała w 1984 r. w Nowym Jorku, grająca trudną do zaklasyfikowania mieszankę heavy metalu, rocka, free jazzu, funky, hip-hopu i innych stylów - określaną nieraz jako crossover. Krytycy określają grupę jako kultową grającą Black Metal w prawdziwym znaczeniu tego słowa.
