Album Cut The World formacji Antony And The Johnsons to zbiór symfonicznych koncertowych wykonań utworów pochodzących z czterech studyjnych płyt zespołu (Antony And The Johnsons, I Am A Bird Now, The Crying Light i Swanlights). Nagrany w Kopenhadze, przy udziale The Danish National Chamber Orchestra, Cut The World przynosi aranżacje przygotowane przez Nico Muhly'ego, Roba Moose, Maxima Mostona i samego Antony'ego. Ponadto na płycie znalazł się premierowy studyjny utwór tytułowy, będący jedną z nowych kompozycji Antony'ego stworzoną na potrzeby przedstawienia The Life And Death Of Marina Abramović (w reżyserii Roberta Wilsona, w którym występują Antony, Marina Abramović i Willem Dafoe). Future Of The Left już wzbudził spore zainteresowanie na MySpace, gdzie udostępnił kilka swych utworów. Spotykamy je tutaj, ale - tak jak w przypadku "Real Men Hunt In Packs" - w mocno zmienionej (na lepsze) postaci. Poza tym, "Curses" to prawie czterdzieści minut mocnej, granej z energią i pasją muzyki o zaskakujących melodycznych zwrotach, przywołującej niekiedy pamięć The Sex Pistols ("Suddenly It's A Folk Song"), niekiedy bardziej eksperymentalnych wykonawców, jak PIL, Pere Ubu (śpiew Andrew Falkousa miejscami łatwo kojarzy się z Davidem Thomasem) czy Suicide ("Wrigley Scott"). Dzięki takim wykonawcom jak Future Of The Left prawdziwy, autentyczny punk rock wciąż żyje, choć nie ma wcale łatwego życia pośród jego plastikowych imitacji, zalewających rynek jak tandetne zabawki "made in China".
Brytyjski zespół Wildfire z obiecująco brzmiącego nurtu NWOBHM - New Wave of British Heavy Metal - ma niestety tylko dwa albumy i dwa single. "Brute Force & Ignorance" oraz "Summer Lightning" imponują bardzo melodyjną wersją brytyjskiego heavy metalu. Należy przypuszczać, że tylko przez prześladujący grupę pech i zawirowania składu nie udało im się osiągnąć wielkiego sukcesu komercyjnego.
