Za szyldem Oneohtrix Point Never, kryje się muzyk, kompozytor i producent Daniel Lopatin. Występujący od 2007 roku pod tym pseudonimem artysta właśnie przygotował swój siódmy album, zatytułowany „Garden Of Delete”. Od czasu ukazania się płyty „R Plus Seven” z 2013 roku i udziale w kilku projektach pobocznych, Oneohtrix Point Never miał okazję zaprezentować swoją muzykę szerokiej publiczności, dzięki udziale w trasie Live Nation, gdzie występował u boku Nine Inch Nails i Soundgarden.„Dużo myślałem o dojrzewaniu. Urodziłem się w 1982 roku, więc gdy słuchałem „Superunknown” Soundgarden, zbiegło się to w czasie z pojawieniem się trądziku, a na twarzy zaczęły rosnąć mi włosy. „Garden Of Delete” trochę nawiązuje do tych wspomnień. Sięgnąłem po wspomnienia, które zostały mi z okresu dojrzewania - a nie było ich za dużo - i zdałem sobie sprawę, że większość wspomnień, jakie zgromadziłem do tamtego czasu, są traumatyczne”.
