Od kiedy w 2010 roku Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) i Atticus Ross połączyli swoje siły przy pracy nad muzyką do filmu 'The Social Network', ich współpraca jest wyłącznie pasmem sukcesów. Za wspomniany soundtrack otrzymali Oscara, ich następne dzieło - muzyka do filmu 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Dziewczyna z Tatuażem)' przyniosła im statuetkę Grammy. Najnowszą wspólną produkcją jest muzyka do filmu "Gone Girl (Zaginiona Dziewczyna)". Film w reżyserii Davida Fincher (Fight Club, The Social Network, Ciekawy przypadek Benjamina Buttona) z Benem Affleckiem, Rosamund Pike i Neilem Patrickiem Harrisem w rolach głównych trafił na ekrany w 2014 roku ale dopiero na początku roku 2015 ukazuje się na płycie.
