Musical miał premierę w nowojorskim Neil Simon Theatre 3 grudnia 2018 roku. Scenariusz oparty jest na blisko 60-letniej karierze Cher w show-biznesie. Na scenie wcielają się w nią trzy aktorki – Stephanie J. Block (nominowana do nagrody Tony), Teal Wicks oraz Micaela Diamond, odgrywające ją na różnych etapach scenicznego i pozascenicznego życia.
