Creedence Clearwater Revival to Amerykańska grupa rockowa powstała w 1967 roku i była prekursorem stylu rock and roll revival. Muzyka oparta na grze akustycznych i elektrycznych gitar była prosta i przejrzysta, wiele czerpała także z folku oraz południowego rocka. Sygnaturą grupy był nosowy śpiew jej lidera Johna Fogerty. W 1969 roku grupa wystąpiła na festiwalu w Woodstock. W 1993 roku grupa została wprowadzona do "Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame". Muzyka zespołu Creedence Clearwater Revival jest mocno zakorzeniona we wszelkiego rodzaju mediach co czyni zespół wciąż nieśmiertelnym.
