Bastille nareszcie zdradzają szczegóły długo oczekiwanego drugiego albumu „Wild World”. Wydawnictwo zwiastuje nowy singiel „Good Grief”, utrzymany w dobrze znanym, wyjątkowym stylu Bastille – jest euforyczny i melancholijny jednocześnie. W nagraniu wykorzystano sample z kultowego filmu „Weird Science” z Kelly Le Brock. Surrealistyczne video do „Good Grief” w zaledwie 48 godzin zanotowało ponad pół miliona odtworzeń!Album intryguje już samą okładką, na której widnieje filmowe wręcz zdjęcie dwóch mężczyzn na krawędzi olbrzymiego wieżowca. Dlaczego tam trafili? Co się potem wydarzy? „Nie chodzi o to jak się tam dostali ani jak zejdą na dół. Chodzi o wspólne przeżywanie tej chwili – dwójka przyjaciół znajdujących się w danym ułamku sekundy w tej przestrzeni, dwójka ludzi umieszczonych w kontekście wielkiej metropolii” – wyjaśnia Dan Smith.Album powstawał w tym samym maleńkim studio w piwnicy w południowym Londynie, gdzie została nagrana debiutancka, multi platynowa już płyta „Bad Blood”. „Nasz pierwszy album był o dorastaniu. Drugi jest o próbie zrozumienia otaczającego nas świata. Chcieliśmy, że był trochę dezorientujący – introwertyczny i ekstrawertyczny, jasny i mroczny” - mówi o „Wild World” Dan Smith wokalista i kompozytor materiału Bastille. Za produkcję materiału osobiście odpowiada Dan Smith wraz z piątym członkiem zespołu – Markiem Crew. Na płytę trafiło 14 utworów, które opowiadają o kondycji współczesnego człowieka i trudnych życiowych relacjach. „Świat może się wydawać popieprzonym miejscem.
