Obraz ten został nominowany do nagrody Grammy w kategorii „Najlepszy film muzyczny”. Wyselekcjonowane przez reżysera utwory Davisa połączone z krótkimi fragmentami audio z filmu to muzyczny rarytas zarówno dla doświadczonych fanów Milesa, jak i nowych słuchaczy.
