Sia zakończyła prace nad nowym albumem. Dzieło nosi tytuł "We Are Born" i ukaże się 21 czerwca. Za produkcję całości odpowiada Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue). Wokalistka podczas pracy nad materiałem szukała inspiracji wśród dokonań Blondie, Talking Heads, ale i The Cure czy The Pretenders. Jak zapewnia artystka, w odróżnieniu od jej poprzednich wydawnictw "We Are Born" zdominowały szybkie, energiczne utwory, w tym taneczne "The Fight" oraz "You've Changed" i "Clap your Hands". Nie zabrakło jednak spokojniejszych momentów, jak ballady "I'm In Here" oraz coveru piosenki Madonny, "Oh Father". Całość uzupełniają popowe perełki "Big Girl Little Girl" czy "Stop Trying". Na pierwszy singel Sia wybrała "Clap your Hands", w którym gościnnie pojawiają się Fred Falke i Diplo. W studiu Australijkę wspomagał również gitarzysta The Strokes, Nick Valensi.
