Reedycja tej płyty zawiera dwa pierwsze albumy 999 na jednej CD. Założony w Londynie pod koniec 1976 roku, 999 jest jednym z najdłużej żyjących zespołów epoki punka z założycielami Nick Cash, Guy Days i Pablo LaBritain. 999 i Separates były pierwszymi dwoma LP-ami angielskich punk-rockerów, oba wydane w 1978 roku. Debiutancki album „999” został wydany w marcu, zawierający single „Emergency” i „Me And My Desire”, a „Separates” ukazał się później w tym samym roku. „Separates” został wydany w Ameryce pod tytułem „High Energy Plan” jako ich debiutancki album w USA. Utwór otwierający „Homicide” cieszył się częstą rotacją radiową, szczególnie w Los Angeles. Album „Separates” został oceniony jako jeden z najlepszych albumów punkowych wszechczasów.
