"Bad Magic" – taki tytuł wybrała dla swego 22. studyjnego album legendarna grupa Motorhead, na której czele stoi jedna z najwybitniejszych osobowości w świecie mocnej muzyki, Lemmy Kilmister.Rok 2015 to nie tylko nowy album Motorhead. To również celebrowanie 40-lecia istnienia formacji, którą w Londynie założył Lemmy po tym, jak został wyrzucony z Hawkwind.Motorhead od samego początku nie przejmuje się modami oraz trendami. "Bad Magic" to kolejne potwierdzenie tej tezy. Powalająca sekcja rytmiczna Lemmy/Mikkey Dee, świetne riffy i solówki Phila Campbella, ostre numery, ale i dużo wspaniałych melodii, doskonałe i inteligentne teksty Kilmistera – tak w skrócie można opisać zawartość płyty. Można też inaczej – to potężny kopniak w dupę tych, którzy ośmielili się choć przez chwilę pomyśleć, że Motorhead nie ma już nic dobrego do zaoferowania.Lemmy uporał się z kłopotami zdrowotnymi i wrócił do wysokiej formy, zarówno wokalnej, jak i tekstowej oraz kompozytorskiej. Wraz z Mikkeyem i Philem nagrał 13 piosenek, które nie pozostawiają cienia złudzeń, co do tego, kto rozdaje karty w mocnej muzyce, opartej na rock and rollu, hard rocku i punk rocku. Już pierwsza kompozycja, która pojawiła się w sieci, "Thunder And Lightning", przekonuje, że z triem żartów nie ma i jeńców ono nie bierze.Wszystkie piosenki napisali panowie Kilmister, Campbell i Dee, a po raz pierwszy w historii zespołu dokonali tego wspólnie w studiu.
