Robert "Bobby" Previte jest amerykańskim perkusistą oraz kompozytorem urodzonym w 1951 roku w stanie Nowy York. Na uniwersytecie w Buffalo studiował jednocześnie ekonomię I perkusję. W 1979 przeniósł się do Nowego Yorku  gdzie stał się bardzo aktywnym przedstawicielem  dynamicznie rozwijającej się sceny muzyki eksperymentalnej i jazzowej. Współpracował z  John’em Zorn’em, Wayne’m Horvitz’em, Elliott’em Sharp’em oraz wieloma innymi muzykami.  Zespół  The Visitors tworzą łodzi muzycy z Nowego Yorku. Bobby Previte tak opisuje swoją współpracę z nimi: „Bardzo lubię grać, i zwyczajnie przebywać z młodszymi muzykami. Ich energia jest zaraźliwa. Muzycy z The Visitors  należą do moich najbardziej ulubionych. Dziękuję im za muzykę, za intensywność i za wszystko, czego się od nich nauczyłem”. Płyta „Gone” jest rejestracją koncertu który odbył się w Warszawie w Klubie 12on14, wówczas kedy mieścił się on jeszcze w Warszawie na starym mieście przy ulicy Piwnej.
