4-płytowe nowe wydawnictwo Reel To Reel przedstawia aż 8 klasycznych oryginalnych albumów genialnego francuskiego piosenkarza i gitarzysty Sachy Distela. Cały materiał zawiera aż 82 utwory i został zremasterowany (Digitally Remastered). Opakowano w gustowny, elegancki, rozkładany digipack. W latach 50-tych Distel cieszył się opinią jednego z najlepszych francuskich gitarzystów jazzowych. Współpracował z takimi gwiazdami jak Dizzy Gillespie, Tony Bennett, Archie Shepp, Billy Eckstein, Bobby Hackett, Shirley Horn grając w klubach jazzowych na Manhattanie i Harlemie w Nowym Jorku. W późniejszym okresie zajął się muzyką rozrywkową. Jako piosenkarz wypracował własny styl wykonywania utworów, zbliżony do jazzu z elementami scatu. Koncertował w Polsce w roku 1964 i 1980.
