W roku 2017 przypada 25 rocznica założenia wytwórni ACT, która wypracowała sobie wyjątkowy status jednej z największych na świecie wytwórni jazzowych, a na pewno najbardziej rozwijającej się w Europie niezależnej wytwórni. Wydawnictwo, po zakończeniu 30-letniej kariery menedżera w międzynarodowym biznesie muzycznym w EMI Electrola, później WEA (Warner), powołał do życia Siggi Loch. Dziś ACT jest potentatem fonograficznym, mającym w swym katalogu ponad 400 tytułów. Z okazji jubileuszu wytwórni, związani z nią artyści przygotowali specjalne premierowe nagrania, jakie wypełniły jubileuszową płytę: "Twenty Five Magic Years. The Jubilee Album". W związku z 25-leciem wytwórni miała też miejsce specjalna koncertowa gala w Berlinie. Dokumentująca ją płyta: ACT Family Band "The Jubilee Concerts", zawiera nagrania m.in. Nilsa Langrena, Michaela Wollny'ego, Joachima Kuhna i Adama Bałdycha. Koncert, jaki odbyl się 2 kwietnia w Konzerthaus Berlin, przyniósł wiele wyjątkowych konstelacji tworzonych przez muzyków związanych z wytwórnią. Okazjonalne duety, kwartety, kwintety czy wreszcie potężny 18-osobowy gwiazdorski skład, wykonujący w finale wielki przebój końca lat 70-tych "We Are Family" (z repertuaru Sister Sledge), zapewniają mnóstwo wrażeń. Na płycie doskonale uchwycono dramaturgię koncertu, w środkowej części płyty umieszczając najbardziej rozimprowizowane utwory. "We Are Family" wieńczące w wielkim finale płytę, nie jest jedynym coverem jaki słyszymy podczas godzinnego albumu dokumentującego koncert. Nils Landgren i Michael Wollny proponują "Send In The Clowns" z musicalu "A Little Night Music", a gdy dołączają do nich Ulf Wakenius, Lars Danielsson i Wolfgang Haffner, możemy delektować się wyjątkową wersją "Walk Tall", utworu skomponowanego przez Joe Zawinula dla formacji Cannonballa Adderleya. Pięknym polskim akcentem jest "Quo Vadis" Zbigniewa Seiferta zagrane przez Adama Bałdycha z genialnym Joachimem Kuhnem przy fortepianie, Dieterem Ilgiem przy kontrabasie i Erickiem Schaeferem za perkusją. Pod względem instrumentalnym intryguje nietypowy duet kontrabasów Dietera Ilga i Larsa Danielssona, który słyszymy w kompozycji pierwszego z muzyków: "Savannah Samurai". Świetny dokument, a zarazem album od którego trudno się oderwać. Trudno uwierzyć, że jedna płyta dostarczyć może aż tyle wrażeń. (Robert Ratajczak) Tracklista: 1. Są to płyty o charakterze przeglądowym stanowiące doskonałą wizytówkę wypracowanego przez label profilu. Płyty łączy charakter zebranych nagrań, tematyka bądź instrumentarium. W roku 2016 światło dzienne ujrzała kompilacja "Fahrt ins Blaue. Relaxin' In The Spirit Of Jazz" doskonale sprawdzająca się jako chilloutowy relaks. 25 maja ukazuje druga część składanki: "Fahrt ins Blaue II. Groovin' In The Spirit Of Jazz", na której znajdziemy 14 nagrań z repertuaru m.in. Viktorii Tolstoy, Youn Sun Nah oraz duetów Joe Sample & Nils Landgren i Ida Sand & Raul Midón.
