Ostatnim wpisem na liście z nazwą tego miasta jest grupa The Long Blondes, której drugi, nie mniej porywający taneczny album "Couples" właśnie trafia do sklepów.Do produkcji "Couples" zaangażowany został DJ Erol Alkan, dziś jeden z najbardziej wziętych mistrzów remiksów i producentów, odpowiedzialny m.in. za uczynienie wielkimi hitami nagrań Klaxons, Hot Chip czy Daft Punk. Wystarczy posłuchać tej płyty, by przekonać się, jak nadzwyczaj nowocześnie i "klimatycznie" potrafi on sprzedać repertuar, który sam w sobie oryginalnie nawiązuje do wielu "tanecznych" tradycji: od tych amer-pop-punkowych (Blondie, B-52's), przez krautrock i europop, po rodzimy, nowofalowy electro-pop (Adam Ant, Human League, Pet Shop Boys). Dwie śpiewające dziewczyny, Kate Jackson i gitarzystka Emma Chaplin - wraz z trzema pozostałymi członkami zespołu i Alkanem - w iście magiczny sposób odświeżają te tradycje. Jeśli na wcześniejszej, debiutanckiej płycie "Someone To Drive You Home" obie panie zdawały się wciąż lekko zerkać na Agnethę i Fridę z Abby, teraz - co znaczące - czynią to tylko raz: w utworze znacząco zatytułowanym "Nostalgia". To oczywisty pożegnalny ukłon, może z łezką, ale też The Long Blondes jest dziś już o wiele bliżej do koncepcyjnej muzyki Saint Etienne niż do zasłużonego szwedzkiego ensemble'u królującego w latach 70., czy też - co trzeba dorzucić - Debory Harry i starszych krajan z Human League. Jeśli ktoś szuka rzeczywiście ambitnej współczesnej muzyki tanecznej, powinien do kosza wyrzucić przereklamowane nagrania typu Scissor Sisters czy Rapture i sięgnąć po "Couples". Pełna satysfakcja gwarantowana.

However, they reached the final of the UEFA Champions League after a miraculous comeback against FC Barcelona in the semi-final, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi providing enough to see off Tottenham Hotspur and seal a sixth European title. In the Premier League Alisson Becker kept the most clean sheets, Salah and Sadio Mané finished as joint-top goal scorers and in his first full season Virgil van Dijk won two Player of the Year awards.
