Po premierze płyty "The Prelude Implicit" z 2016 roku Kansas wyruszyli w trasę po Ameryce Północnej w 40. rocznicę premiery multinowego krążka "Leftoverture". W listopadzie 2017 ukazuje się wydawnictwo "Leftoverture Live & Beyond" - dwugodzinna, 19-utworowa uczta upamiętniająca tę trasę. Wyprodukowana przez Jeffa Glixmana płyta koncertowa zarejestrowana została w 12 miastach i można na niej znaleźć cały album "Leftoverture" zagrany przez nowy skład, jak również wybrane utwory z lat 70-tych i albumu "The Prelude Implicit".
