Album Ala Cohna "Lover Man" został zarejestrowany w składzie Al Cohn (sax), Dan Wall (piano), Neal Starkey (bass), Brian Childers (drums). Al Cohn (24 listopada 1925 r. - 15 lutego 1988 r.) był amerykańskim saksofonistą jazzowym, aranżerem i kompozytorem. Grał w zespole w zespole klarnecisty Woody'ego Hermana i był znany z wieloletniej współpracy muzycznej z kolegą saksofonistą Zoot Simsem.
