Lee Hazlewood, po krętej karierze dżokeja, producenta, autora piosenek, dyrektora wytwórni i artysty solowego trafił główną wygraną w wieku 37 lat. Piosenka Nancy Sinatra zajęła pierwsze miejsce po obu stronach Atlantyku. W ciągu trzech lat istnienia wytwórni Hazlewood wydał trzy albumy zaczynając od „The Very Special World Of Lee Hazlewood” z 1966 roku. Na płycie znalazła się gra Hazlewooda łącząca country, pop, mariachi i muzykę lounge w coś niezwykłego. W 1967 roku Hazlewood założył wydawnictwo LHI i był zajęty budowaniem własnego imperium, które z miłością archiwizowaliśmy przez ostatnie kilka lat. Prezentujemy teraz to brakujące ogniwo w historii, a także kontynuacje Lee Hazlewoodism: „Its Cause and Cure” (1967) i „Something Special” (1968).
