Kultowe płyty kultowego zespołu ponownie w sprzedaży! Ponad 40 lat na scenie, mnóstwo przebojów oraz ogromny wpływ na rozwój alternatywnego rocka i nowej fali. Tym może pochwalić się brytyjska formacja The Stranglers. Jej studyjne płyty z pierwszego okresu działalności to niekwestionowane klasyki muzyki alternatywnej. Wszystkie ukazują się 2 marca 2018 roku wraz z kultową koncertówką "Live X-Cert"! Dusiciele powstali w 1974 roku na fali wzrastającej popularności muzyki punkowej na Wyspach. Trzej członkowie założyciele formacji odegrali w niej niepoślednią rolę – będący w zespole do dziś perkusista Jet Black i basista/wokalista Jean-Jacques Burnel plus charyzmatyczny wokalista i gitarzysta Hugh Cornwell. Stanowili oni do 1990 roku, w którym odszedł Hugh, trzon The Stranglers i są odpowiedzialni za jego największe hity. Stylistycznie zespół wyszedł od punka i post punka, aby później stopniowo skręcać w stronę nowej fali, a nawet zahaczyć o mainstream. Pierwsze studyjne płyty The Stranglers, "Rattus Norvegicus", "No More Heroes", "Black And White" i "The Raven" oraz album koncertowy, miały jeszcze zauważalny dość ostry punkowy pazur. Kolejne, "Gospel According To (The Meninblack)" i "La Folie", były wyraźnie lżejsze i bardziej melodyjne.
