Płyta ukazuje się w ramach serii Original Jazz Classics Remasters - nagrana w Nowym Jorku w ciągu trzech majowych dni w roku 1962 "How My Heart Sings!" to album, na którym obok Billa Evansa wystąpił basista Chuck Israels (zastępując Scotta Lofaro, zmarłego tragicznie w wypadku samochodowym) i perkusista Paul Motian. Był to drugi album zespołu. Pierwszy, "Moonbeams', zawierał wyłącznie ballady. "How My Heart Sings!" jest płytą żywą, bardziej energetyczną od fonograficznego debiutu tria w tym składzie.
