Zremasterowane (Digitally Remastered) wydawnictwo Bgo zawiera 2 albumy na jednym CD grupy America: "Perspective" oraz "In Concert". America założona została jako zespół amerykańsko-brytyjski w roku 1969 w Londynie. Początkowe dokonania grupy utrzymane były w stylistyce supergrupy Crosby, Stills & Nash. Dopiero w roku 1971 zespół zadebiutował albumem America, na którym znalazły się najsłynniejsze jego kompozycje – "I Need You" czy "A Horse With No Name". W dorobku zespołu America są utwory , które swobodne przechodzą z melancholijnych nastrojów folk rocka, po tajemniczość rocka psychodelicznego.  Towarzyszył temu pełen ekspresji śpiew Gerry’ego Bleckleya, głównego wokalisty grupy. Najczęściej jednak muzyka zespołu oparta była na pogodnym, elektroakustycznym brzmieniu i łagodnych wokalizach. Charakterystyczne dla grupy America było również wykorzystanie efektów z zakresu muzyki elektronicznej, oraz sprawne łączenie stylu folk z lekko popowym brzmieniem.
