4 kwietnia tego roku w londyńskim Royal Albert Hall spotkało się wielu znakomitych muzyków oddając hołd wybitnemu artyście, którego niestety już brakuje w tym zacnym gronie – Jonowi Lordowi.  Ten wyjątkowy koncert zatytułowany „Celebrating Jon Lord’ został zarejestrowany, ujrzy światło dzienne 26 września i będzie dostępny w następujących formatach: 1CD – „The Composer”, 2CD – „The Rock Legend”, 2DVD, Blu-ray, Box Set oraz w wersji elektronicznej, a każda z wersji będzie miała inną okładkę. Koncert był podzielony na dwie części – pierwsza z nich była poświęcona muzyce klasycznej, tak bliskiej Lordowi, natomiast druga pokazywała rockowe oblicze muzyka. Fani mieli szansę zobaczyć i przeżyć muzyczny, ogromny dorobek Jona, zarówno z czasów Paice, Ashton Lord, Deep Purple oraz wszystkiego co było, po, przed i w międzyczasie. Muzykom na scenie towarzyszyła 83 – osobowa Orion Orchestra pod batutą Paula Manna, a dochód z koncertu został przekazany fundacji  charytatywnej The Sunflower Jam założonej przez Jackie Paice, żonę Iana Paice’a z Deep Purple, wspierającą walkę w nowotworami.
