„Every Move You Make: The Studio Recordings” to boks, w skład którego wchodzi 6 180-gramowych płyt winylowych – kompletna dyskografia The Police oraz płyta „Flexible Strategies”, na której znalazło się 12 utworów spoza albumów i b-side’ów. Masteringu dokonał Miles Showell w Abbey Road Studios w Londynie. Boks ukazuje się z okazji 40-lecia premiery pierwszego albumu The Police, „Outlandos d’Amour”. Do płyt dołączono 24-stronową książkę z niepublikowanymi wcześniej zdjęciami pochodzącymi z prywatnego archiwum członków zespołu. Płyty zapakowane są w eleganckim pudełku. Na dyskografię The Police składają się następujące krążki: „Outlandos d'Amour” (1978), „Reggatta de Blanc” (1979), „Zenyatta Mondatta” (1980), „Ghost in the Machine” (1981) oraz „Synchronicity” (1983). The Police powstało w 1977, a skład zespołu tworzą Sting, Stewart Copeland oraz Andy Summers. Zespół na stałe zapisał się w leksykonie muzyki rockowej, jednak w swojej twórczości bardzo intensywnie czerpał także z takich gatunków jak punk czy reggae, tworząc własny, niepowtarzalny styl. Grupa sprzedała ponad 50 milionów egzemplarzy albumów na całym świecie.
