Basista, kompozytor i lider tego kwartetu Richard Andersson to muzyk wielkich nadziei na duńskiej scenie jazzowej. Gdy miał 14 lat uległ wypadkowi podczas dziecięcej zabawy fajerwerkami. Od tamtego czasu - mimo, że miał mocno uszkodzony wzrok - każdy jego dzień był poświęcony muzyce. Zaczynał od gry na gitarze klasycznej w Instytucie Niewidomych i Słabowidzących, ale szybko zaczął też grać na kontrabasie i temu instrumentowi poświęcił się na studiach w The Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, a następnie w prestiżowej Manhattan School of Music w Nowym Jorku (ukończone w 2009 r.). Tuż potem wydał swoją debiutancką płytę, która spotkała się z uznaniem publiczności i krytyków oraz otworzyła mu wiele możliwości współpracy z najlepszymi muzykami jazzowymi po obu stronach Atlantyku.
