Album zawiera kilkanaście największych, niezapomnianych hitów słynnego francuskiego piosenkarza w tym między innymi: "Brave Margot", "La Chasse Aux Papillons", "Amoureux Des Bancs Publics", "La Vent" i wiele innych. Georges Brassens (ur. 22 października 1921 w Sète, zm. 29 października 1981 w Saint-Gély-du-Fesc) to francuski bard, poeta i kompozytor. Obok takich sław jak Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Yves Montand, Johhny Hallyday, Serge Gainsbourg jest największą "wizytówką" muzyki francuskiej. Brassens zdobył popularność wykonując własne utwory. Komponował też muzykę do tekstów Apollinaire'a, Verlaine'a, Villona, Hugo, Aragona i innych. Na estradzie aktywnie występował do marca 1977.
