Neon Neon to nowy projekt Gruffa Rhysa, lidera indie-rockowej formacji Super Furry Animals oraz nowobrzmieniowo - beatowego muzyka i producenta Bryana Hollona, bardziej znanego jako Boom Bip.Obaj panowie swoją współpracę rozpoczęli pod szyldem Dolorean, dziś już jako Neon Neon dorobili się pierwszego, doskonale przyjmowanego albumu "Stainless Style", w przystępny, ale oryginalny i błyskotliwy sposób zestawiającego muzyczne światy obu artystów czyli indie-rock i pop oraz elektronikę i brzmienia spod znaku downtempo z syntezatorową stylistyką lat 80. oraz nowoczesną miejską muzyką spod znaku The Neptunes czy M.I.A. Na płycie występuje sporo śpiewających i rymujących gości takich jak Fatlip, członek hiphopowej formacji The Pharcyde (ostatnio wspomagał The Chemical Brothers w ich singlowym przeboju "Salmon Dance"), grupa Spank Rock, Yo Majesty, Sean Tillman, gitarowa formacja The Magic Numbers, Har Mar Superstar czy Fab Moretti z The Strokes. W sumie Neon Neon to przedsięwzięcie, co do idei porównywalne do słynnego projektu Gorillaz muzyka jednak nieco inna, choć nie mniej ciekawa i przebojowa.
